Learning at
the Museum
Kindergartens & Primary Schools
We offer specially tailored workshops for kindergarten and primary school groups that place a strong emphasis on sensory experience and physical perception. Designed for children aged 4 and up, these open and vibrant sessions encourage creative expression and support the development of self-directed learning. At the heart of each workshop is a playful, free and multisensory approach that invites personal discovery and imaginative engagement.
The workshops take place in our light-filled studio house BlauRaum, with views into nature. On fine days, the creative activities move outdoors – right into the museum’s sculpture park.

Secondary Schools
We offer a diverse programme of themed tours and practical workshops for classes of all school types and age groups. Our dialogue-based tours and creative formats are designed for students from Year 5 to Year 13.
The artworks in our collection and the themes explored in our special exhibitions provide a wide range of connections – whether for interdisciplinary projects, art lessons, or all-day school programmes. Depending on the topic, workshops take place in the light-filled BlauRaum studio or outdoors in the museum park, combining artistic practice with active experience.
